2026 Parks and Rec/K.I.D.S. Camp Halloween Parade Float - October 18
The Quakertown Borough Parks and Recreation Department will have a float in the 2026 Quakertown Halloween Parade featuring K.I.D.S. Camp Counselors and campers on Sunday, October 18th. We would like to invite all 2026 K.I.D.S. Camp campers and C.I.T.S. !
Registration:
To participate, you must register on QuakertownRec.com. This is a FREE opportunity for your campers to see some counselors and fellow campers from this past season!

Candy Land
Attire:
Dress up as your favorite characters from the game CANDYLAND! Pick your favorite candy and dress as the candy! There are unlimited options for you to pick, wear whatever you are most comfortable in and keep in mind the weather in the middle of October!
Day of Details:
Details regarding meeting time and location will be emailed to registered families closer to the parade date. our float will be the very first float behind the fire department vehicles to kick off the parade! The Parade will start at 2:00pm and line up will start at 12:30pm!
Parents:
Since the Parks & Rec Department is overseeing the Parade we have 5-6 counselors running the parade float! Molly Lacy will be in charge, day of and will sign your child in! Once your child is checked in, you are more than welcome to enjoy the parade at a spot of your choice!
